Augmented Reality (AR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are technological domains that interact closely with space at architectural and urban scales in the broader fields of cultural heritage and innovative design. The growing interest in information can be felt in many fields of knowledge. It is supported by the rapid development and advancement of theory and application, software, and devices, fuelling a pervasive phenomenon in our daily lives. AR defines an alternative path to observe, analyse and communicate space and artifacts (Amin Govilkar 2015). In addition, AI opens future scenarios in data processing, redefining the relationship between humans and computers. The recent AR/AI expansion and relationship have raised profound transdisciplinary speculations. In our view, these technologies show great potential when their joint applications within advances in technology and communication (ICT) are developed on a continuum (Milgram Kishino 1994). Research experiences have shown many cross-relationships in Architecture and Design. Representation studies could give rise to an international debate as a place of convergence of multidisciplinary theoretical and application contributions related to architecture, the city, the environment, and tangible and intangible Cultural Heritage.
